Quentin Fenton Herter III is absolutely, nauseatingly mannerly. This prissy Goody Two-shoes of a boy is revealed through the funny rhyming text. He has a shadow, however. This alter ego, Quentin Fenton Herter Three, is just awful-- and much more interesting. Illustrator Giselle Potter depicts the two sides of our obnoxious hero with unique, edgy humor. Children will love one of these Quentins, and the activities of both.
