Kids First Boat Engineer
Fall 2017 ToysWith trademark charm and solid age appropriate science lessons, the family of Kids First Engineering Kits adds boats to its armada of preschool storybook science.
The Omega family is back with aquatic themed adventures of siblings Ty and Karlie, and their family's robots, Huxley and Remus. Using the colorful chunky components, young listener/builders are tasked with building models of the ten boats featured in the story—from a canoe to a catamaran and a tugboat to a hydroplane. Each STEM to stern construction lesson floats concepts of buoyancy, displacement, volume, and weight as young shipwrights solve problems and perform storied tasks. "Row, Row, Row, Your Boat" will never be the same.
The preschool engineering set includes a 32-page storybook experiment guide, plastic pieces to build the boats that float (one model at a time), big eyes to add personality and a much appreciated storage/carrying case.
