Folkmanis® Yellow Beaked Crow Puppet
Spring 2016 ToysUp to three hands (via two puppeteers) could be used for extra flexibility in this large, life-sized, furry-feathery puppet. Its five-fingered wings and large beak offer many choices for potential animation and visual delight. Because so many young learners don't realize that the crow is a very smart creature, this puppet could be coordinated with factual resources (such as Bird Brains: The Intelligence of Crows, Ravens, Magpies, and Jays) for extra science experiences. Children's books could also correlate with this puppet, such as Lisa Fleming's Cat and Crow: An Amazing Friendship, or the early Caldecott Honor Crow Boy, or Aldous Huxley's re-issued story (his only children's book), the Parents' Choice Gold Award winning The Crows of Pearblossom.
