The Anniversary Edition Up and Down Roller Coaster is well made and easy to assemble; the pieces interlock and connect like a puzzle. It's sturdy yet light weight, and easy to transport. The groove that holds the ATV-style car in place at the top of the ride is clever, and the car's high back, handrail and footrest make for a secure ride. A young child will quickly master the ability to enter the vehicle and descend the 10 foot long ramp.

In addition to the fun, the riders improved their gross motor, coordination and balance skills. They learned about teamwork and played creatively. We words new words: thrill, groove, vehicle, inspector, mechanic, reverse and backwards, and additional ways to play were easy to come by. We made flags and cheered for friends, marked the blacktop with chalk where the car stopped and we measured and compared who went farthest. The children pretended they were mechanics and fixed the car, and then drove to the store and home to make dinner.
