The Incredibly Spaced-Out Adventures of Jupiter Jackson is the debut comedy sketch album by children's musician and YouTube sensation Eric Herman. These six main sketches (and accompanying faux radio ads and public service announcements) recall the clever and absurd humor of Monty Python, The Simpsons, Weird Al, and Dr. Demento (for grandparents reading this).

Children will delight at the sheer silliness, and adults will appreciate the references, as well as the style and talent of Herman's delivery. Some skits are more successful than others, as with the title track, which most kids won't necessarily get that he is doing a parody of old 1940s radio adventures, or Saturday matinee serials. Yet, Herman does successfully lampoons game shows ("The Math Game"), sports announcers ("Monster League Baseball"), news broadcasts ("Electrical Storm") and science programs ("Monday Science") for all ages.

Herman also creates all the album's incidental music and sound effects. There is a fun off-the-wall thread that ties the whole project together - reminding this reviewer of the mischevious work of Daniel J Pinkwater. Caution: repeated listening may cause more fun.
