Teeter Popper
Fall 2014 ToysThe Teeter Popper is a new twist on the traditional teeter-totter; it features silicone suction cups that create a fun popping sound as children move. It hones core strength, stability, leg strength, balance, coordination, and gross motor skills. It also serves as a great lesson in cause-and-effect, because children come to learn that their movements result in the amusing popping sounds. It is a sturdy, well-designed product that's fun for children of many ages.
Our youngest tester, new to walking, leans on the Teeter Popper with her hands until she hears the "POP-POP" sound. Surprised and curious, she laughed and looked under the contraption to find the source of the noise. Her 3 year old sister likes sitting cross-legged and rocking back and forth, experimenting with how loud she can make the pops. Older brothers (ages 8 through 11) stand with one foot on each side and practice balancing as they rock back and forth.
