Aztack
Spring 2014 GamesAztack is a strategy game for two to four players aged seven and up. The game includes sixty stones depicting four Aztec design inspired glyphs (flower, water, deer, and flint) in a variety of color and image combinations. After creating the base of the pyramid, players take turns strategically stacking their twelve stones by matching glyph and/or color. The game ends when no more tiles can be placed; the player with the fewest stones wins.
Each game lasts approximately fifteen minutes and hones problem-solving and strategy skills as gameplay unfolds. Our parent testers enjoyed the game's theme and used it as an opportunity to teach children about the history of the Aztec people, their culture and their accomplishments.
