The Skylanders Giants Starter Pack includes everything that children and grown-ups alike need to start playing right away: the Skylanders Giants Video Game (this version was for the Wii), the Power Portal, three Skylanders Giants Figures, a character poster, trading cards, and sticker sheets. Players place their character(s) on the Power Portal and they "magically" appear on the screen for either person-versus-person battles or a fun adventure-style game.

Players can learn a variety of moves and special attacks and upgrade their characters. Upgrades are even saved automatically in the figures themselves. Because it is a simple-to-learn and relatively intuitive game, it is a great choice for parents and children to play together. For its innovative concept and long-term play value, we would recommend this game to even the most novice of "gamers."
