Phineas & Ferb 104 Days of Summer Board Game
Spring 2011 GamesKids love this game. Role playing challenges and creative props, including a mummy figurine, plastic coin, and face mask, allow each player to take an active role in the game's outcome. Our child testers have repeatedly asked to play the game since we first offered it to them. It's based on a popular TV show which stars two young boys who spend their summer days building impossible structures and creating incredible inventions. The object of the game is to move along the game board performing mind and body challenges to advance through the summer and collect points. The player who scores the most Summer Fun Points wins. The game board itself is very colorful and eyecatching, and the instructions are easy to follow. The clever spinner adds excitement to the game, its four points deciding what color, day, letter, or number will influence play, depending on the challenge. Though not designed as an educational game, Phineas & Ferb's 104 Days of Summer is a game that will encourage active movement, clever thinking, and energetic participation.
