It's a Pair is a matching game very similar to the "Memory" games everyone had growing up. It consists of sixteen pairs of various shoe-themed cards, from snow boots to roller skates. The cards come in a simple cardboard box. It's no frills, and we appreciate that this company, ALEX, doesn't waste resources on unnecessary packaging.

Our testers did not get very excited about the shoes theme of the cards, and they became bored after matching up the swimming fins and the bunny slippers. We had trouble persuading kids to play again, and when they did repeat the game it did not hold their interest very well. Still, the cards' slim packaging and sturdy materials make it a good standby memory game deck.
