Take four tuneful dads from Caldwell, New Jersey; combine with fourteen well-written and lighthearted pop songs for younger children, and you have the very pleasing album by Baze and his Silly Friends. The Sergio Leone inspired "Big Boy Now," the REM-ish "My Family," the rocking "Toddlerville," and the New Wave inspired, weekday naming song "Time of Your Life," will have kids and their parents dancing around the house. The video for the highly infectious anatomy lesson of the group's "This is Your Body" has been getting a lot of airplay on the HBO Family network, thanks to it's Monkees/Banana Splits inspired lunacy.

Along the way, there are light and airy lessons on imagination ("My Imagination"), animals at the zoo ("Water Comes Out of Our Nose"), spooky things (the funky "Scare Me, Scare You"), and an alphabet song: "I Got the ABC's," featuring the rapping of Ah-Choo.

The production, performance, singing and songwriting are professional and entertaining. Parents with kids in the three- to seven-year age bracket will find Toddlerville added to the "Play it again, please" list.
