The Playmobil Post Office-once assembled-encourages imaginative, pretend play while promoting a basic understanding of the workings in this real-life place. The set includes a weigh station, a postal box, a customer counter and ink letter stamper, which did require some scrubbing to remove stamp stains from fingers.
Assembly was time consuming and children's ability to help was limited. However, the pieces are durable and the play value makes this worth the set-up time.
