Review:
Though it only takes about a minute to play a game, everybody ranging in age from 4 - 70 years seems to want to play over and over again. Gobblet is an easy-to-learn strategy game played like tic-tac-toe. A player tries to secure three spaces in a row with their game pieces, but unlike tic-tac-toe, there are three different size pieces, which can be moved even after they are on the game board, and larger pieces can be moved onto smaller pieces which are then "gobbled up." Strategy is important in this game, but too much anticipation or strategy is likely to result in a loss, which means that kids may often beat their parents. This game is compact and made entirely out of wood. Game pieces, painted with bright colors and goofy faces, fit into a recessed wooden game board.
