Since 1978, Parents' Choice has been a trusted source of recommendations for the best in children's media: toys, books, music, television and more.  For thirty-four years, we've been recommending toys and media that help bridge the classroom to the playroom. Anything but stuffy, our recommendations are the epitome playful learning.

Following is a partial list of our valuable partners who help promote our work and messages, clearly underscoring the value and the impact of Parents' Choice recommendations.

Sirius XM/Kids Place Live

Mindy Thomas, host of Sirius XM’s Kids Place Live has been a fan of Parents’ Choice since she lived in a drawer of mismatched socks. Throughout the year, Mindy invites us to join her on her show to talk about the latest Parents’ Choice Award winners.  

USA Weekend

In print, more than 800 newspapers with a circulation of 22.6 million take us to 49.2 million readers every weekend. Online, USA Weekend brings its readers weekly articles, additional interviews, contests and other features. Parents’ Choice contributes six articles per year that highlight a variety of Parents’ Choice Award winning products. 

Association of Children's Museums

Begun in 1962, the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) represents museums and professionals dedicated to early childhood play, the starting point in the continuum of lifelong learning. Children’s museums annually serve more than 31 million visitors, help prepare children for school, build 21st century skills and nurture creativity. ACM strengthens children’s museums to be essential community assets by: establishing standards for professional practice; convening InterActivity conferences; collecting research and best practices; and initiating national and international partnerships with opportunities for local collaboration. ACM leadership initiatives include Good to Grow!, Diversity in Action and Playing for Keeps. Parents' Choice and ACM are working together to showcase children's museum exhibits around the country.


Get Game Smart

Since its inception, Parents’ Choice Foundation has been a partner in The Get Game Smart Campaign helping parents and their children get on the same page about making smart media choices. Using new methods and messengers, the Campaign inspires families to take simple, but important steps that can help ensure that their kids' media experiences are safer, healthy and balanced.

With more than 3 million visitors each month, provides parents of school-aged children with free access to information, resources, activities and articles that make learning together more fun for everyone. Since 2009, Parents’ Choice has been providing content and recommendations to 


American Speech Language Hearing Association

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is the professional, scientific, and credentialing association for 135,000 members and affiliates who are speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the United States and internationally. Parents’ Choice Foundation has supported ASHA’s mission via the Listen to Your Buds campaign.


Smart Television Alliance

Television is a powerful medium. It can educate, inspire, and entertain. At the same time, the violence, indecency, and sexual content on TV sends our children a very different message -- one that undermines the positive values parents and caregivers are trying to instill in young people today.

Parents’ Choice Foundation was among the first three national nonprofit organizations invited to join this broad reaching coalition united by a shared commitment to improving what our nation's children see on television.
